Ralph "Nunzi" Annunziata
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Ralph "Nunzi" Annunziata is a skilled artist who studied under Joseph Plavcan and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.

Artistic Inspiration & Techniques
Nunzi draws inspiration from the Great Spirit, the Earth Mother, nature, human anatomy, light and shadow, and the intricate beauty and patterns of creation. His work spans various techniques, including:

Multi-medium, large-scale abstract acrylic paintings enhanced with ebony pencil, gel, and varnish.
"Wet Sketch" techniques, incorporating gesso, pencil, gel, and varnish on both stretched and unstretched canvas.
Plein air figurative and landscape painting, capturing the essence of nature and the human form.
Teaching & Mentorship
As an adjunct instructor, mentor, and volunteer, Nunzi is dedicated to fostering creativity in others. His contributions include:

Mentoring private students and leading workshops.
Teaching abstract painting and multi-medium acrylic “wet sketch” workshops, both figurative and landscape.
Serving as an art counselor and mentor at Guiding Light Mission in Grand Rapids.
